They sound nothing alike? Eva had quite a powerful voice, Diana has a sweet soulful voice.

Hmm she probably was more likely to be copying Joss Stone given her age. Although why we have to be told continuously how 'quirky' she is when U2, Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley and The Beatles (all of which she has either sang a song by or mentioned) are all popular and successful mainstream artists is beyond me. She's just a good singer.

I think she is not only a good singer but has that 'something' that makes her stand out. A bit soon to say but maybe she has the X Factor.

She's a shy Indie kid hit the big time so she's more reminiscent of the likes of Laura Marling and to a lesser extent Emmy The Great.

Eva Cassidy??? I don't see how, the two are totally different.!!
Eva Cassidy has such a beautiful pure haunting voice, Diana has a nice voice in a quirky marmite(like simon says) way. I like her atm but I don't know whether she will get on my nerves in future.

I'm not saying she sounds like Joss Stone, I just meant she might have 'borrowed' the 'No shoes on stage' idea from her.

You need your brain checked. You think somebody who has a career in record production would say they "loved" somebody who sounds like a cat in pain?

Ah, of course.

Everyone has to be compared to someone. When you are a bit unusual like Diana, the comparisons become rather strange.

Eva Cassidy?

Joss Stone?!!!!!!

A great female vocalist who passed away not long ago. Leona did her version of OVer the Rainbow on Xfactor.

And I dont think Diana is anything like Eva.
I would compare her to Nora Jones though! I think thats who she emmulates!

Dolores O'Riordan (I think I spelled her surname correctly?).
