I blame the audience personally! They were all sat there like someone had died, yeh an odd few clapped but there wasn't the interaction that B&C usually have from audiences!

I was so excited when i heard they'd be dancing tonight and they didn't disappoint! Do wish they'd done a jive tho!

I must admit that I didn't find them that spectacular. Hard to believe they're actually nine times champions.

Indeed. They were fantastic. I still say Bryan should be a professional on Strictly .

Well if he was he would soon acquire the negative attention which Karen attracts .

The audience were so dull! Only some of them were attempting to clap along and live the dance. And they didn't get a standing ovation! I've seen lesser dances from less talented couples get a standing ovation from the crowd and the judges.

I full agree. I found it down right disrespectful to B&C. They looked quite shocked and..annoyed ish with their performance and audience!

Why should anyone stand up ?

They may be world champions but as has been pointed out already , it isn't everyone's cup of tea .

Jill and Darren might not have been everyone's cup of tea..or whoever else has performed, but they all stood up.

Due respect to B&C for being nine times world champions but as a non dancer i'm sorry but that performance left me completely flat .......maybe i can't appreciate the technicalities of dance i don't know but there was no electricity about that performance at all for me.

You couldn't even see Brians hips/bum movements because his shirt was outside his trousers

Give me the Cutlers any day of the week

I don't blame them. If anyone found their dancing flat I think it wasn't down to them. Samba is meant to be a party dance... there was no party in the studio.

Perhaps the audience weren't particularly impressed by B&C.

They certainly bored me.

Why?? Is it mandatory that all audience members clap like demented loons at the mere presence of B&C.

it was pretty dull in all fairness, same old routine again.

TBH, I much preferred Ian and Camillas chacha.

I was impressed and no thank you.

I'm tired of watching V&F. Give another professional couple chance!

As Bryan said in his retirement speech at Superstars - all they have ever wanted to show is pure, real, Latin dancing, no frills, just genuine, true dancing, and that is really what has earned them the titles they have won, and made them worthy of them.

It may not have the excitement for a non-dancing audience that watching Joanna Leunis throwing her legs over her head and doing all the athletics does, but at the end of the day, I know which one I prefer, and which one is actually Latin dance.

I thought you were suggesting the audience should stand up because they were world champions , sorry .

I fully appreciate how talented they are and that it was genuine Latin dancing , and that they are world champions . They are superb .
I have watched all the film I can find of them and as wonderful as they are , I don't feel drawn to them . I am sorry if that offends any of their fans .

I would imagine they don't need SCD to boost their teaching possibilities ; Karen didn't either and much of her work is not SCD related is it ? that is she hasn't got the work through SCD .

Would I be wrong to suggest doing SCD may even harm their teaching standing ?

I have to say I wasn't that impressed with them. There wasn't a carnival atmosphere which there should be in the Samba (the audience didn't help matters), and I don't think the music choice was the best either.

Well, as I don't follow dancesport, that was what I was expecting. Y'know themoveveryfast and then move.....very.....slowly, so I wasn't looking forward to B and C.

But what a surprise! A recognisable dance, which even to my inexperienced eye was fantastically well done. I loved them.
