I know it's only early in the day yet but I'm sure Leona's downloads on iTunes were pretty high at this point after she performed last year....were they not? Can anyone confirm this, please?

But Leon is only at #61 and that's only on pop iTunes.

I personally didn't like his performance at all but usually if anyone performs on X Factor, their downloads shoot up very fast.

I'm not a fan of Leon's but for his sake I hope he does okay.

Depends how up to date Itunes is really; last year Leon didn't look as though he was selling very much and wasn't appearing... but that was because Itunes had crashed.

Give it time, I think leona's was the fastest selling single of all time or something, wasn't it. I doubt Leon will match that.

I don't know what period itunes use to calculate their ratings. If it is the last 24 hrs, then it is understandable because it had only a few hours so far.

I just looked on the top 100 to see if any songs were in from last nights show and was shocked to not see Leon there... I had to check if his single was out and it is... it's quit emebarassing really.

He's up to 34 on the pop chart; but hasn't appeared on the combined list... but as I said on another thread I don't know how often each list is updated

Do you know how I look onto the different genre charts?

I want him to do well to show that XF isn't a gimmick and that Leona isn't a one off success.

Just go onto the music tab on the home page of Itunes and click on the genres tab... and then onto pop and then top100 songs

Last night should have been the peak for sales, but I don't think many people rushed to download it to be honest. His performance was him going back to square 1. If he doesn't get number one after performing on X Factor then he's got no chance of survival afterwards.

Shayne only got to Number 2 after his X-Factor performance and he's doing OK...

I don't think many people would be arsed to stay up until Midnight to download the song... only hardcore fans would

Your one is up to date, I think 'Voodoochilds' iTunes is a bit behind.

According to Buzzjack Forums... Leon is up to 17 on the main chart... however my Itunes doesn't even list him on the main chart.... so I'm not sure whether or not to believe it...

#17 is fine - its started off well, if it maintains the early momentum he could get #1 on iTunes.
