Rachel Has No Chance Of Winning
I should firstly say that Rachel is a very good singer however she has no chance of winning the show as she is very much a "Marmite" character and also far to confident for her own good. If you compare her attitude to some of the other females then she has a lot to learn.
I would not be surprised if Rachel and her mentor have an even bigger fallout in the coming week and I can see it all ending in tears. |

I know she wont win, but I don't care, for a start I can see her getting a contract anyway, and Rachel brings not only an amazing voice to the show, but the entertianment Factor as well, she put personality into her songs, which I like.

I think the best thing about Rachel is that she gives her songs personality.
I don't know whether she can win or not, too early to say. (would anyone have said Leon was going to win after the first show last year? )I expected her to be in the bottom 2 last night yet she wasn't. So people are obviously voting for her despite a shit song, her past and dodgy suit.

Damn her for being confident. Doesn't she know british people like their women quiet, childlike and self deprecating?!

Yep she probably wont win, but I am interested to see what she can do if given some decent songs, she's the best over 25 imho, so hope she makes the last 5 at least.

A lot of people said that about Fantasia in American Idol a few seasons back, although I might add that Rachel at present isn't up to Fantasia's standards - but she had a bit of an 'attitude' as they called it, but she was just a feisty lady and was even in the bottom 3 once, along with Jennifer Hudson who's now huge in the States, but she fought back and justice finally prevailed and the public found she actually was by far the best singer in the competition.
I for one really like Rachel's voice, but I hope Danni doesn't ruin it for her with a lot of stupid songs that don't suit her voice, she should stick to bluesy soul or even gospel type tracks if she can. |

Rachel is a good singer but she has no vocal style of her own. She's like a sound-a-like of Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse and all those other soul singers. Her voice has no unique identity.
I don't see that there's a market for her music either. Who would be her target audience? Generally, there's not a whole lot of room for women over 25 in the charts, however wrong that is. |

Don't like Rachel's voice at all, too shouty, rough and gravelly. Alexandra's is so much better, smooth and melodic.

I think it's a sad day when FM's are passing off Simon Cowell's comments as their own
![]() But yes, I agree to an extent - which is a shame |

I actually think that Rachel is trying to model herself on Fantasia minus the drugs the prison and the stabbings , but she has long ,long way to go before she gets there

She may not win but she will give it a real good go. She is a great talent and I love her voice and personality. She is real and honest and we could do with more like that.

Whilst I have my personal dislike of the way she seems to be proud of a past that really is nothing to be proud of (my kids are in care). My reason for wanting her to go (everyone deserves a second chance and all that) is she is way too big for her boots. She was Ok yesterday, not spectacular, but she carried on like she was Whitney Houston, when she was average. In a bad suit with bad attitude to match
