Some advice please

Hi there. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice. I have two cats. One who is 3 and a new one who is only about 1. I have had Lily for only 11 days. When I first brought her home Blackster (3 yrd old) was fine with her, very tolerant, even sleeping on the same bed, but as the days have gone on, war has begun to break out. obviously I have the cat flat shut for going out, but Blackster can come in, and we then let him out when he wants to go out. Trouble is, when he comes in now, Lily is straight there and they have spent the entire morning chasing round the house. I believe that Lily is seriously bored. She is meowing at the door and cat flap, also at the windows. This is going to be a long 2.5 weeks until I can officially let her out. Any advice about how to keep her occupied and the two of them happy until "out Day"!!! ?

PS she does have many toys in here.

I would keep them seperated as much as possible at the moment, keeping their time together controlled and when it becomes heated separating them again - it won't be easy and will be a long drawn out process, but I am sure eventually they will tolerate one another

thanks for the reply. I will definitely try and keep them separate for a while. I suppose we thought everything was fine because the introduction went so well. I think that maybe Lily has got a bit big for her boots here and Blackster is feeling a bit put out. Peace has resumed at the mo. one outside and one asleep upstairs
