The bit just before the acts come out, with various shots of them and then their name at the end.

That's all I wanted to say

It's also nice that they're using the contestants' full names now.

Me too, I like the effects and the way they use their full name.

Is it just me or the voices that play in these titles do they say the contestants names like "Alexandra... Alexandra... Alexandra" .... "Ruth... Ruth... Ruth" ... "JLS... JLS... JLS" etc? It sounded like it to me.

It seems to be another thing that's slowly creeped over from American Idol. But then the American contestants always have better names (LaToya London, Syesha Mercado, Ramiele Malubay, Constantine Maroulis to name a few. )

loved it, but i would have preferred the voice over man introducing the judges when they come on stage instead of dermy

Very exotic, we get Scott Bruton (which sounds like a name you'd hear on the news for some murderer) and Alexandra Burke, with berk (pronounced the same) meaning idiot

the use of second names is possibly due to us getting people with the same names as previous series, so it helps avoid confusion

Or because after the show finishes people always seem use their surname. Leona Lewis, Shayne Ward... on the show it was just "Leona" Shayne"
