tv not coming on problem
When it comes to general problem like this I really don't know what forumn to post in, but hopefully I have the right one.
When my tv (hitachi 24" widescreen 2 years old) has been on for several hours, it refuses to come on again once swiched off or placed in standby mode. No amount of pressing the buttons or waiting will get it come on. What I have learnt is that if I unplug it from the mains for a couple of hours it will then come on okay (once I plug it back in!!!) This has been the case for three months or so. However for the last year it has been turning itself off for no good reason, and then turning itself back on a second later. Obviously this is a repairman job, but I was wondering if from the symptoms anyone could work out whats at fault. I'm guessing its some sort of voltage cahrging/capatience problem, but i "know nothing". |

Dan * accidental damage |
