Very interesting reading. ha ha.

How could blazing squad not have a following? With 10 boys, theres bound to be at least one that each teenage girl in the country fancies, flawless.

Whoever thought up the concept of Blazin Squad should get 10/10 for trying.

A selection of comments from that BBC page...

i wana big up all of da squad .i tink all u boyz out der dat r tryin slag off da blazin boyz r stupiid.blazin squad r heavy n all of dem r chong.i would lite 2 c u boyz slag dem of 2 da squads face , i no wat would happen if they did they would knock u all out n den who would b laughin . big up all da fanz n da boyz dem self.n all u haterz out der u r makin dem stronga. i luv all da squad . all of da boyz r heavy they treat dr fanz wid respect 1 lv harri xxx
I fink BlazinSquad r da buffist guys eva and der so good at wot they do went 2 1 ov der concerts it was brilliant i loved it i hope ur second album is as great as the 1st 1 keep up the good work i fink Reepa is god he is the buffest 1 in da band but dont worry guys ur all great. x x x
I fink Blayzin Squad r well ruff mayte, they is the wickidest roodboys on tha planet, they ave got sum well ill beets and theer lyriks is well dope innit. Big up the Saaf Kingston Roodboys!!
What the hell is 'buff', 'dissing', 'bangin' 'roodboys' and 'innit' ?

Obviously their music teachers weren't too hot on their spelling either - which probably explains the 'well ill beets' 'well dope' 'lyriks'.

The Blazin Boys r the sexiest fings 2 walk on earth but Strider beats them all hes a stud
Dear me love, I hope that's not your taste in men

Blazin squad r such a heavy bad i love them to bits and think about them non stop. they produce wicked tunes. they r all soooooo sexy and buff especially flava he is well buff. alun williams don't even know what he is chatting about so he should sutup. Blazin squad r the best.
How can they be 'heavy' ? And what's with the 'buffness' again ?

Dear dear me. Does anyone speak proper English? What has happened to all sense of spelling, grammar and punctuation?

However on I do have to agree with James from Kingston (upon Thames ?) and Katie from Ipswich...

James...

Dear god, if listening to this album makes you write like the majority of the reprobates in this list then it is not just worryingly bad music - but downright deleterious to the good of the nation. This abomination must end now.
Katie...

Before you start 'dissing' any reviewer why don't you go back to the books and brush up on your grammar and spelling exercises. At least the reviewer was able to write (NB you might want to grab the dictionary now!)coherent and erudite English!
And as for what I think, the Blazin' Squad are completely shite and would disagree would most of the comments on the BBC page (having spent a good half hour attempting to decode them - I still haven't worked out what 'buffness' is!).

10/10 for being shite,

10/10 for corrupting the spelling and grammar of your followers

10/10 for the choice of bad clothing and on stage performances.

0/10 for ability to sing

0/10 for being able to write decent lyrics

I love how these kids are saying
"how can you slag em off they're so fit"
rather than
"christ, the music is ****ing appalling, and if they are a band thats what it is supposed to be about"

I wouldn't worry, the hormones will settle in em soon.

Personally, I think they all look 1 step down the evolutionary chain!

I'm not old, and I don't feel the need to write in code like the Germans in WWII. It's definately a London thing, which is perfectly fine with me, as I hope not to cross paths with any London "Brovaz".

I fear this fad won't last long.

Just try and get a job writing like that.

Since pop music began in the 50's. Teenage girls have been wetting their knickers at the mere mention of their favourite group from the Beatles to Bros. Admittedly you can't really lump the Beatles and Blazin' Squad together, but it's the same principle: Girls fancy group. Group are shite (Bros, New Kids on the Block, Westlife, Blazin Squad, and so on) Group sells loads of records. Girls get older. Group loses fans. New girls like new group and so the circle of life continues.

Why has text speak now latched on to the internet? I understand needing to squeeze as much as you can into a text, but on the net you are free to ramble (as I have done.)

Grammar for Wankers: Lesson one

'Innit' is an essential punctuation tool. It must be used in place of, 'isn't it', 'wasn't it', 'aren't they', 'did he', 'should they', 'wouldn't we' and basically any confirmation of a statement you can imagine, whether or not it's neccessary, innit.

Examples:

"The concert was sublime, wasn't it?" becomes "blazin squad were illin, innit".

"I'm having problems filling out my Jobseekers allowance form" becomes "I don't get it, innit".

Excercises:

Try truncating the following sentences yourself.

1. Would you like medium or large fries with your Big Mac meal madam?

2. Excuse me officer, I believe I'm entitled to one phone call.

1. You want fries innit?

Surely

u wnt fryz innt

I believe the messages at the end of the BBC link were made by BlazinSquads own to make us believe their audience has the ability to txt (and have full permission to make calls from the bill payer).

Then again it could be the team members each have a personal spin doctor suffering from truncated dyslexia.

Innit is so last year, by the way. The cool kids are now using the following, and utterly incongruous postscripts to their statements:

1. Wozzit
2. Duzzit
3. Cuddit

There can be no greater joy than witnessing the following conversation:

"You gointa Donna's party wozzit?"
"I aint go no money for booze tho, innit!"
"S'awright bruv, I'll sortya out, dunnit!"
"Nice one G, i'll link you later, cuddit"

I remember when I was at Junior School in the 80's, we ended everything with "man"

i.e:

History was boring man!
The Police are W****** man!
Don't talk to me like that man!

Thought we were right hard little gangsters. You soon grow out of it though.

That's pretty laid back to be honest - i'd expect a wannabe punker like you to be dissin' all on Blazin' Squad because they are a bunch of Cro-Magnon garage muppets who have been turned into a boyband by the record company. "Pretty average" is high praise indeed - i bet Strider is well chuffed, innit.
