I am loving that there are quite a few acts who in my opinion will split the vote and I think that is what is going to make this year great. There are several constestants who people are going to love or hate:

Laura
Diana
Rachel

All talented but def not to all tastes!! Bring it on I cannot wait.

In theory, you are spot on, IMO.

However, after spending a few years on PI/XF forums, I can assure you that when you have a situation like Diana v's Laura as the weeks progress, the DS rivalry will start.

By about week 5/6 - you will see the main faves gaining strong fan bases and the conflict will start. It will not be pretty. Shame. But it happens.

I feel the oppositte, I think if the more "marmite" contestants split the vote we will see them go out and be left with more bland contestants in the later weeks (of course what is bland to some might not be bland to others
