Does anyone use Skype for Mobile? What exactly does it do? The Skype webpage talks about it using existing cellphone minutes?

on 3 contract you have 4000 skype mins/mth, irrespective of your mix & match tariff allowance

you just use it like on your computer calling other skype users is free

can't see who's calling though - all incoming says 'skype service'

on PAYG £10/mth gets you same mins as long as you have remaining credit

the skypephone s2 looks pretty sexy - the v1 is adequate, but not a fashion item

Thanks for the reply. Although I wasn't talking about Skype on 3, but actually Skype on other mobiles. The webpage link I posted previously talks about Skype on Nokia's etc on other networks.

I use skype on my nokia n95 8gb but when you call to some Skype contact it will cost you but you will be ok if your on a contract becouse you get minites. Heres what it charges

Skype-to-Skype call: Cost of a local call

People on your contacts, chats and presence: Data charge from wap (internet) in case you are using wi-fi, there won't be charges from your internet (WAP data usage)

SkypeOut call: Cost of a local call + SkypeOut rate to destination

Receive calls: SkypeOut rate to your mobile
