Sky Line Rental
Hi
I've just moved house & am wanting to set up Sky Talk & Broadband, I know I can now get line rental from Sky, but is it possible to get Sky to activate the line (it is currently there, just no dial tone, etc) rather than going through BT as last time I moved house & set this up, it took 3 weeks+ to sort Cheers |

Welcome to the DS forums whendrinksmix.
Sky, like BT Retail, will have to get BT Openreach to do that work so it's likely to take the same amount of time. In any case, it's not a good idea to move your line rental away from BT (calls yes, line rental no) so you might as well ask for the £29.99 connection offer BT is currently running (until 31-12-08) if you're willing to agree to sign up for line rental for 18 months. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...1#post14879231 Opt for the cheapest package (the Unlimited Weekend Plan - which is line rental and free weekend calls of up to an hour each to UK 01, 02 and 03 numbers) - don't be talked into anything else - and you can then opt for a CPS calls provider as soon as the line is operational. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...74&postcount=4 |
