Nope me neither there is some problem with adobe flash which i have tried to resolve - researched the forums tried everything suggested but can't get it to work - its to do with the plug in. It doesn't work in explorer either.

I have also contacted X Factor website and I got one email which I replied to but they didnt bother to get back to me.

Machine specification as above for Internet Explorer users
Users of Firefox browsers and those who use Macs need to have Microsoft Silverlight v1 installed
Download from http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight...tionfiles.aspx

I'm trying this.

I don't have a mac and its a new laptop with all the latest software.

It seriously drove me mad one night trying to sort it - if you do find a solution would love to know thanks.

It does run for firefox but it does nothing. I just sent a feedback form and it says "email me when you support Firefox"... pathetic.

It's strange. I also have a problem viewing some ITV videos, yet BBCi works fine.

Beer, I am being funny, Yes I can see the video in firefox BUT only via the "IE TAB" add-on for firefox, which lets you view a webpage using IE engine.

I just found it's one of my add-ons/extensions Barry so I'm disabling and enabling each one to see which one it is.

If you install this addon (if you don't already have it) http://ietab.mozdev.org/ then you can view the x-factor page in firefox, as it opens IE in a new tab.

It's my ad blocker Barry. I'll install that Barry but do you use anything to block your ads?

I use ad block plus which is stopping the X Factor vids.

The IE engine works but it didn't let me do stuff I could do with the other add-ons I had.

I had to change my adblocker - which I've done and it works perfectly now.

I switched from

Adblock plus to Adblock

Oh thank GOD!
