Surely I am not alone in finding Dean mind-numbingly boring. He constantly states the obvious, sits on the fence and generally tries to be Mr Good Guy. A potential winner? Certainly not! I have no doubt that the viewing public will have the good sense to vote him out as soon as the the house mates wake up to how irritating he is and put him up for eviction.

I agree with you that Dean is boring, but he's still got a good chance of winning!!! Everyone in the house seems to like him. Actually I reckon he'll be in the last 3!!!

The unfortunate fact is, you are probably right. He doesnt stand out enough to receive many nominations so there is every chance he'll still be in the house come the last week.

Thank you!!! So come on then, do you hate Dean enough for him to be your least favorite? If not Who is, and who is your fave?

My least favourites are Amma and Narinder on the grounds of their constant bitching. For the same reason however, I would like to see them stay in the house - the show would become extremely boring if we were left with a house full of contestants without a personality to share between them.
My favourite is easily Brian. Yes, he does over camp, but you've gotta love him!

I don't like Amma that much, but I do like Narinda. Narinda is 1 of my favorites. The others are Bubble and Brian. My least fave housemate is Amma, and I really didn't like Penny or Stuart either!!

why is dean boring??? cos he doens't argue with people, cos he is easy going etc....
Then yes he is boring because he doesn't entertain you. You are judging it by how much he has to offer your enjoyment.

I think Dean is a really nice guy, this showed the other night when he took Amma to one side and talked to her and comforted her.

Dean deserves to win because he is the nicest person in there in my opinion.

Rubbish! We don't want 'nice!'. If we wanted nice we'd turn over to watch Songs of Praise. Nice simply isn't entertaining - and entertainment is ultimately like it or not is the purpose of the show. We love the bitching, we adore the backstabbing and we bask in the arguements.

Just what qualities do people think the public should be voting for? Do you think the money should be deserved by the nicest person or the nastiest?

Unfortunately, the voting public are going for nice. If they were going for entertainment they would have kept Stuart. They don't come more confrontational than that - Mister 'I just bought a nine acre farm'. On that basis, however, they shoudn't have even bothered with the programme, at the interview stage they could have just said you seem like a nice guy here's a hundred Grand. Then I wouldn't have the hassle of being compelled to watch the thing!

I think the idea is not to allow the producers to choose on the basis of a few interviews but to let the public choose after 2.5 months under 24/7 pressure in an artificial environment (and to provide some entertainment/make large amounts of money in the process).

To go to the opposite extreme, BB could remind everyone when presenting each week's nominees that they want to award 100K to the worst bastard/bitch they can find.

The public should not be voting for the nicest or the nastiest person, merely the most entertaining.
