I think it would be a good idea for X Factor to do a half hour midweek show and catch up with what is going on with rehearsals and the house etc. Strictly manage to do a 30 minute show each night and keep us upto date and am surprised Simon Cowell has not also cashed in on that idea. It would give us a better chance to get to know the participants a lot quicker too and know where they are coming from. Do other people think it would be a good idea ?

From what i remember, they used to have a midweek xtra factor where they'd show footage from the house and rehearsals in the recording studio....i'm guessing it got axed due to low ratings...I like the idea of a 30minute catch show daily on ITV1. but I don't think theres any space in the weekday schedule
