Erm yeah, I know they were MALE.

They had to use something to keep Flossy the sheep still while they were having sexy time.

Ugg Boots are bloody awful, worse than crocs. On men they look even worse.

LMAO

Why has nobody mentioned the fact that Ugg boots make all but the most supermodel female leg look like that of a rugby player?!

Heels are sexy for a reason

Why don't we just say we don't give a dam how we look and wear Ugg Boots out in public - you may as well have a placard round your neck saying "I have given up on life, I am having a life crisis"............ Just my opinion of course

lolol @ nblyth

I think one of the main problems is the majority of wearers of these hideous creations are not actually Ugg boots, rather those cheap shoe shop imitation ones!

And think of the sweaty feet! Ewwww

Guys look like poncy ***** in them, just as they do wearing those stupid scarves or brightly coloured jeans.
But if that's what you like then that's what you like, and more power to you- just don't get offended when people with taste laugh at you.

i like boys wearing cardigans and pumps i think it looks really cute, im not sure about ugg boots though, i think they would look ok with baggy jeans tucked

UGG boots look cute on girls, but sh*te on guys. I'm all for metrosexual men, but this is taking it a step (pardon the pun) too far!

It's bad enough on girls...

Just my opinion of course, but Uggs look silly on anyone. Female or male. Unless we are in the middle of a terrible winter, -25*c and 6ft of snow, they will never be acceptible in my book.

My Mum calls them 'eskimo boots'

I know people say they're okay because they're designed to keep your feet cool in warm weather, and warm in cold weather... but they *look* like they were designed for the depths of winter - it just doesn't go with a mini skirt and halter top!

I hate UGGS. Apart from Crocs they are possibly the ugliest shoes known to man. I'd hoped that they would gradually phase out this Winter, but now men have started wearing them looks like I'll still be seeing them... joy.

I was going to buy some EMU brand boots ages ago for the Winter before everyone was wearing these boots, and then I left it a bit and EVERYONE started to wear the things, put me right off the things.

I saw a photo of a male musician or artist in a weekend colour supplement a coule of years ago, he was wearing UGG boots, (jeans tucked in, arf!!!) and I though "what a tool he looks". Obviously way ahead of his time though!

These boots only look good an a minority of women, with the right combination of clothes. Short skirt works, not jeans. And also it helps if the instep isn't all collapsed (which is quite often it seems)

Absolutely!

Ugg boots are for girls only and you need to wear them now with a short skirt and black tights.

Ugg boots for men is just plain wrong..

Really, well girls stop wearing hoodies and tracksuit bottoms because men wear them.

Uggs originated in Mens fashion first so to that comment.

It may pain some women but UGGs are unisex and thats a fact, maybe you should leave them to us guys to wear.

At the end of the day they look OK on girls and OK on guys full stop.

I'm not going to stop wearing them because a select few women think that it is wrong that they make UGGs for guys. If there wasn't a market for it - they wouldn't make them!!!

I agree with Roger! In this day and age, us guys should be allowed to wear what the hell we like. The Girls are even wearing "boyfriend" cut jeans now but if a bloke threatens to don a pair of skinny jeans... well, he must be gay ! WHATEVER !!

One thing this thread has proved is not all fashion items float everyone's boat; whether you're a boy or a girl, not everyone likes Uggs. Personally I love them and wear them a lot. Nobody has every yet told me I look like a "poof" and generally I get very good comments.

Live and let live.. Let people live their lives and wear what they want... It's 2009 for God's sake.

It's quite funny, I've seen them for sale here in Oz, but have yet to see one local wearing them!
I think they're there for the British tourists to buy and take home for their unfashionable relatives

I would rather shot myself in the head than wear them. Its the worst thing ever created . Girls who wear them dont understand how un-flattering it looks. If my gf wore them it would be over ...well j/k but nearly over
