I'm currently lugging everything about in a large black bag from Accesorize. It's large enough to hold my lab coat, safety glasses, diary, notebook, pencil case and makeup bag!

I've been obsessed with the Anya Hindmarch Pardoe bag for months but can never bring myself to spend that amount on it. It's half price now, but only the colour I don't like

I just bought a Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma MM in Amarante. I saw it in Selfridges recently, and I just had to go back and buy it.

I finally gave in and bought myself a Louis Vuitton Alma bag 2 years ago!
My favorite high street designer is Ted Baker and I have about 20 of their bags!
My bag of the moment is my All Saints Teja bag in black, its the large one with the zips on it, I saw it about a year ago and loved it but I waited until the sale and finally got it in January for £91, it should have been £130.
I love bags.

You can never have too many bags and shoes. Fact!

My partner is a love, whenever he goes abroad for work he always brings me back a handbag. My favourite is a Mark Ecko Wild at Heart bag. Cheap but gorgeous.

I don't have many handbags, there's a few I want. The one I want most though costs 267euro, so I wont be getting it, unless I miraculously win enough money for it lol!

Though I do want all of the following, doubt I'll get even one of them though lol!

I love this thread and am so glad it's been bumped.

I can't see myself buying a designer handbag this year, what with this recession and being a student. Luckily there aren't really any bags I've seen recently that I must have, although I would like a nice small (but bigger than a clutch) tan bag for going out in the evening plus a black quilted one. A 2.55 is the classic but a big no-no - as if I could take that to the SU or a nightclub in Hanley/Newcastle

My 21st is coming up this year though, so that could be the ideal opportunity to get nice bag.

You could always get the smaller version of the 2.55 which is perfect for clubbing!

I wouldn't feel comfortable taking any Chanel bag to the student union or a cheap club tbh!

Indeed, I've got this one http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Qq4DAZat24...marantejpg.jpg . I wanted the pink too but I preferred the Amarante because at least I have more clothing options with that bag.

i know this is an old thread but anyway!

i have quite a few radley bags which i love, and they're lasting me well. prices range from about £45 for a little bag to £150 odd for the bigger ones. also have a few purses from there as well.

i've also got a small burberry bag which i got from an outlet centre for like £90

for my 18th last year i got a louis vuitton claudia bag in white monogram multicolore and it was £1,200 but i had wanted one for years, and it was my 18th!

i once saw a lovely purple patent mulberry bag in an outlet centre, but didn't buy it

on my wishlist atm handbag wise is a mulberry 'ruby bayswater' bag in pink. it's beautiful. and i also love classic chanel bags, especially the large shopper bag one.

Love bags, my best purchase was a Jimmy Choo hobo in gold in a sale (60% off :O) But I've got a good mixture of Fendi, Marc Jacobs and Channel.
I'm lucky as I get to go to the US a lot (moving there soon) where stuff is a lot cheaper and I can hit the sales - got 3 Macy's in about a 30 mile radius and 4 DSWs. Spend spend spend

You can never have too many shoes or bags

I'm a mummy so never have my own bag, I'm either using this - which is brand new.

http://www.johnlewis.com/230597189/Product.aspx

Or I was using this:

http://stylefrizz.com/img/kid-robot-bags.jpg (the second one at the top)

Everyone likes it but I found it bloody hideous. It was a present so I felt obliged and ended up carrying nappies around in it.

My favourite handbags are a small, cheap but beautiful Anna Lou of London chain handled bag (can't find a pic anywhere) I got out of Topshop.

And a silver chain mail clutch I got in an event goodie bag - it's Adidas but you would never ever think it if it weren't for a tiny trefoil charm which hangs off the side, it is a really pretty bag.

Got a black Mulberry Somerset recently and holding out for a Bayswater now, after that I'm going to be cracking onto Chanel purely for the leather (as soft as butter) quality

Im really bad at choosing handbags! I have a couple of Abercrombie and Fitch totes (nice and roomy) and a couple of Juicy Couture bags which I got in the sale. But that's all, I'd love to get a really special handbag but I wouldn't know how to choose!

Sadly I don't have the budget to buy designer handbags myself, but my lovely stepmother donated a Louis Vuitton and a Prada towards my otherwise fairly unexciting collection. The LV is about 20 years old according to her, she even had the worn and dirty leather bottom replaced with new leather at LV but unfortunately it now doesn't match the shoulder strap in colour so it looks a bit silly! The Prada one is black patent leather, I do love it but it's far too small for a day-to-day work bag

I do always buy leather bags though, so I have a black satchel-style one which was from TK Maxx that I use for work every day and then a little tan leather over-the-body Topshop one that I use at the weekends as a day bag. I'm always on the lookout for the perfect tan leather work bag though...

A view from a male perspective.

Are ladies handbags a bit like the TARDIS. ie. A lot bigger on the inside. My wife seems to be able to fit half the house contents into her bag, i'm sure she's got a step ladder in there. How is this possible?
