How Big A Thing Is Food For You?
Food is my main pass time, I am not afraid to say I love food. I can't wait to get up in the morn to get stuck into breakfast, I love food shopping and looking at all the nice food. I love making a nice big roast on Sundays, There are some folk out there the total opposite, Never have breakfast, and I know a guy who never has any food in his cupboards and its not that he is broke he has a well paid job just never has any interest in food and there are some out there who wouldn't know what a Sunday roast is.
My parents for example live on Tea and Coffee, I drink them also but its not the tea and coffee I'm interested in, its what food you get with it. How big a thing is food for you? |

Im a foodie! love shopping for it, talking about it, cooking it.
I honestly don't get on that well with people who just eat to live and could burn water! Its one of the greatest pleasures - we need to eat to live obviously but i love living to eat - and to cook something well and see others enjoying it, is just great

There's few things better than growing your own food. Except maybe cooking it.
How I see it is cooking is something everyone has to do. There's no point treating it as another job that you have to do. You might as well enjoy it. |

I like cooking and I *must* be present for the food shopping.
I'm quite a fussy eater too, so food is quite important. |

Food is like existence for me. A necessary evil. I don't want it or like it, but I know I have to have it.

I do like to cook and I love visiting continental restaurants but I don't consider it a huge thing, not at all a fan of 'English' cuisine
If I'm busy then I'll just skip a meal, I rarely have breakfast beyond a yoghurt, I tend to have lunch around 2 or 3 then eat dinner around 10, fits in better with my plans Until you try making a reservation for food at 10 in this country and people think you are mad....bloody cavemen restaurant owners |

I was once advised never to eat anything bigger than my head. This sets an upper bound on how big a thing is food for me.

I'm with you. I love cooking, Eating, talking about food. I don't get people who eat just because they have to, some of my cousins are like that. Bizarre

I only eat when I am hungry so I don't eat regular meals, which I know is not correct and yet, I can eat well once a day and be full and other days, I do snack. It keeps me lean but I am not so in love with food. I find myself too busy to eat constantly and yet, there are these times that are rare, I crave something and must have it.

Not really into food. There's not much difference between a fine restaurant meal, and a cheese and tomato sandwich in my opinion. They both taste OK to me, and fill my stomach - which is the main purpose for me.
I'm not into cooking very much, and find it alarming the way people rush around the kitchen spending ages preparing food a special way so that it tastes just that tiny bit nicer. Adding spices and making it all just right. Cooking things in different stages rather than just whacking it in the oven etc. Aaagh, why bother? It all tastes the same in the end. |

I like food, but eat in moderation. I haven't stuffed myself with unhealthy junk foods for more than half a year now.

It might taste the same to someone who thinks there isn't much difference between a sandwich and a meal in a fine restaurant . ![]() I love cooking and eating I only eat lowcarb ( health reasons) so do a couple of different meals and there isn't much in them , I'm getting pretty good at making alternative meals |

I just said they both tasted OK to me. They are equally as satisfying. Of course I can tell that one is a finer food. I'm just not very excited by it.

Food for me is one of life's greatest pleasures, it doesn't mean I have to eat to excess (not all the time anyway) but I love new recipies and food programmes and growing vegetables is one of my favourite hobbies

Must admit to being a bit of a foodie too. Have to say I'm not much of a breakfast person, but I put a lot of effort into dinner and lunch when I can.
Love the shop, getting a good deal and really enjoy putting a nice dish together. You can find some good ready made things, but I'd always go for the from scratch option every time. |
