Jan and Anton did that - was a lovely choice though, and perfect for a VW.

What about The Killers - Somebody Told Me for a Paso?”

Oh, that was another of my Tango choices (for some reason The Killers are my Tango band ) my Paso choice is Santana's Into the Night

V surprised that nobody used "Chasing Pavements" for a rumba.

I'd love somebody to have the bravery to use "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for a paso or tango.

Also, has anyone ever used "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" for a jive? It feels like they should have by now.

This song screams to be jived to, the horns and drums in the chorus suit the pace of the jive perfectly.

They're an electro rock pop band from Oxford, The Foals.

Surely someone has to use Bleeding love this year. It's not just that I love the song but I'm sure if they used it for any dance it would make it look great.

They used it here on, so you think you can dance. It's amazing.

As someone said on another thread - how good a routine could Cherie and James get up to "Mrs Robinson"? Good dance number too...

A Waltz to what'll I do

A rumba to california dreaming

I would actually like to see someone perform the Rumba to the song 'No Air' by Jordin Sparks & Chris Brown.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icv6DgZ-9O4

The song has been a massive hit this year and i can see a wonderful Rumba routine going along with it.

Karen used "California Dreaming" for the foxtrot that got slated for being too complicated with Ramps.

That said "Come Away with Me" has been used twice now so I guess repeats are possible.

Ride onTime by Black Box would be a challenge for the singers.

Might work for Ola, Lilia or Flavia to do a Cha Cha?

I've always thought so too ~ Has Lilia used it already, or am I imagining it?

Edit: Someone told me that she uses it on the cha-cha section of her workout DVD ~ so hasn't been used on the show yet. Someone needs to snap it up!

Aw, isn't it a lovely film?

I've often thought 'I bet you look good on the dance floor' would make a great jive too (as well as having great subliminal message to reel in the phone votes!) ~ also 'Chelsea Dagger' by the The Fratelli's (although I DO NOT have high hopes for the band's version of this!!)

Town Called Malice by The Jam. Perhaps they could dance a Paso to it.

I know it's irretrievably naff, but I love Mambo Number Five.

I thought Caribbean Blue by Enya would be a good song for something like a VW.

Not TOO bothered about actual songs, but I really wish that they would play the right genre for the dance, especially tye Latin ones where wildly wrong styles are used. How are they expected to "act" the dance if the music is pulling the wrong way?

I have to add that there have been some poor music choices this year, with Andrew and Ola's Tango, and Jessie and Darren's QS being done with songs not really appropriate for their dance IMO. I wasn't overly keen on the use of Black and Gold for a Jive either, or Sweet About Me for a Foxtrot.

Great quickstep!

I would also like Theme from Dancing with Wolves, and Theme from Shrek II - both are beautiful waltzes

I suggested that! I think it would be hilariously brilliant - maybe a quickstep!
