What dreadful grammar from a Financial Services institution (incorrect usage of the 1st "your" [s/b you're, or you are], and no comma or semi-colon.

I must be getting old

Rgds.

No, you're not! While I have no problem with the odd spulling () mistake on Internet forums and, Lord knows, my own grammar is far from perfect, I do object to this sort of thing in "official" communications. A few years ago, I completed an MBA and the challenge of producing 20,000 words for my final dissertation without a single homophonic error was quite daunting. I still have nightmares about accidentally typing "their", "there" or "they're" in the wrong place; and don't get me started on "it's" and "its"!

Point is, although I can get quite shirty when pedants pick on others in Internet forums for poor spelling and grammar (it's a form of intellectual bullying, nothing more), I do expect communications from companies to achieve a reasonable level of competence. It's insulting to the customers if they don't.

Seriously though, can anyone name a (non-business) CC that allows you a second registered address (without charge)?

Well we offer 2 year warranty backed by Humax on all their products if that's what you mean? We pay a slight trade price premium for this option but ultimately it has been worth it. Most major retailers tend to just go for the cheapest option which is why they tend to be the lowest priced on the market.

Yes, Comet offer the 2 years warranty as stated on their web site and also on their shop system as I requested them to confirm this at the checkout. (They tried to sell the 3rd year warranty at £50 ish pounds), and they, Comet, will cover this for the full 2 years with no Humax involvement by myself.
I ordered online this week Monday 28th at £242.49 (with a £7.50 code reduction) then collected from my local store.
Tesco are now selling at £249.99.
I am to belive, Humax will honour the warranty direct when also supported by your origional sales receipt as stated on their Warranty Certificate in the box. I suppose this would be useful if a company ceased trading.

Don't forget that Argos at the moment has the 20 quid of vouchers back (as 10 Oct and 10 Nov vouchers) if you spend over 100, so net 229.xx if you intended to buy other 10+ Argos in Oct/Nov. Ends tomorrow 4/10 though!
