Well, if last year is anything to go by, the minute one series ends, people start compiling their wish list for the next.

Unfortunately I didn't even have a social life on a Saturday night before the series started.

Thats where the mute button comes in handy, although I swear even when muting the tv you'd still be able to hear him

You'd still be able to hear him if you muted the TV, unplugged it, and put it out in the garden.

... and when Holly Bigboobs starts squeaking.
[Her voice is the equivalent of nails being dragged down a blackboard for me]

Holly Bigboobs does have the rare talent of making me nostalgic for Tess.

Ha ha! Yes.... sadly too true. Although she does provide extra entertainment each week as we place bets on how far her bum will protrude when she turns to face the judges.

Well you still have threads devoted to Ballroom Bill who was in Strictly 140 years ago.

After the last series, loads of posters from the BBC forum moved over here when it closed down. Check the Bored - For all the SCD Forum Rebels - a lot of them moved there.

Back to DOI - will press mute when Schofield starts shouting.

Will sign the petition to replace Bruce (he doesn't need a pension).

Will return to the sports forum and a chatter thread of which I'm rather fond.

If I post on SCD after the final - my comments will be rare indeed. Once a show is over I tend to leave it until the next series.

I'll enjoy the final, but Christmas is approaching and real life beckons.

When Strictly is over, it's DOI - with or without Philip & Holly I loved that series.

Then there's the next series of dwts (US having 2 series per year)

Then it's the best of them all: So You Think You Can Dance!!!!

Somewhere along the way I daresay beeb will have another Maria/Joseph/Nancy type series as well.

OMG sounds as if I spend my life glued to the box - New Year Resolution: Must Get A Life!!!!!!

Here's a possible answer, in a post that has just gone up on the DWTS forum:

I'm going to watch it after SCD finishes & before DOI starts , then it won't be long before the new season in April - sorted ...”

I might get my life back! I've been neglecting my friends (am seriously running out of excuses not to meet up with them; must come up with new ones), haven't done a stitch of work and am a bundle of nerves on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays!
