The turning point was when something I was told on the phone made me a little bit sad the other day and my bf's cat suddenly appeared on the sofa and cuddled up next to me.
Also, there's this lovely, grey, friendly cat who always comes up to say hello whenever I go outside to put something in the wheelie bin or go to my car. He actually jumps into cars if you keep the door open, he's so inquisitive! I came home today and found him and another little black cat wearing a bell sitting on the driveway together perfectly content, with the little black cat proudly guarding a decapitated frog.
I've started to really find it funny how they have such a mind of their own too. They're not like dogs who will just blindly sit when you tell them to; they question authority!
I didn't realise how much character they can have before now, I've only ever known dogs.
