I am impatient and can't stop thinking about who will go... will John survive again? I love John, he is a sweet guy...

Who do you think will go? and who could be in the bottom 2?

Don v Mark, Mark leaving would be my guess.

I reckon the bottom two could be any of Mark, Andrew, Don, or Heather.

I am hoping Mark goes, he is just wooden to me...

I really don't know, and even better I don't mind too much. If we did base it on the last two dance offs, it could be Mark and Hayley and Heather and Brian (thinking about public support here).

I think if John and Kristina manage to do an 'entertaining' Samba rather than a correct Samba, they will definitely be saved. I think Andrew is probably not going because of the public support.

I really don't know, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

I'd say Mark, Don, Jodie or Andrew.

Hope Mark goes as I think he's the weakest dancer. Think it could be any of Mark, Andrew, Don or Heather.

I hope Mark goes. I don't dislike him but he's my least favourite.

I agree his Samba looked very awkward.

Yeah I would agree with that... he is my least favourite.

Not being the least bit Mark fan, it's depressing to see this in the thread that 90% of it says Mark should go.

Oh dear.

Maybe, just maybe Mark wasn't 'switching on' in the rehearsal, either that or the ITT producers just wanted to keep his 'transformed' persona secret until the actual night for maximum 'wow' effect.

Then again, with John Borrowman being the acting coach, I AM worried he'll turn Mark into a campy prancing monkey on Saturday and Mark will leave with THAT kinda impression on people!

Argh! The thought of it!

That's what I'm expecting to be honest!

I think with Mark's height and ability he was always going to struggle with the Samba. I was kind of expecting that they'd go the comedy route like Peter Schmeichel, but instead he seems to be putting a frantic energy into it and I'm a bit worried about it

Mark has nothing much to offer on the evidence so far. His dancing is weak and, though he seems very pleasant, he's not much of a personality in RTV terms. There was an entertainment argument for keeping Rhodes over him.

The females generally are quite strong in terms of ability but seriously lacking in personality. Hopefully one or more of the less likeable females - i.e. Cherie or Christine - will be in the bottom two...even though I expect Andrew, Don and and John to score lower.

Thinking about it, Cherie vs Christine would be quite amusing. I don't think a at this stage would be a bad thing at all.

Disagree (respectfully, I hasten to add!) about ALL female lacking personalities. But just picture in your mind your favourite couple in the dance off for the same reason.

Would it still be , or rather . Hmm?

I have to say I did laugh last year at Gabby v Penny

Just because the judges were going on and on about how strong the women were, it kind of seemed like two fingers at them!

When I look back I feel differently though because I think Gabby could have added a lot to the competition. Oh well...

Based on what we saw midweek

John, Mark and Heather were all making a pig's ear of their dances... however - we have no idea when those scenes were filmed - they could have been shot on Monday in which case they could have polished it up perfectly by tomorrow or it could have been filmed yesterday in which case they haven't....

John will probably be saved by the public if he gets mauled by the judges and ends up at the bottom (which i hate to say it but he probably will) which leaves Mark & Heather. Of those 2 I think the judges would save Heather as she is the better dancer of the 2. But deep down, I think John SHOULD go now as he really isn't very good, just sweet and has a popular partner!

Andrew will probably last another couple of weeks based on his GMTV groupies and the blokes voting for Ola, and I think Don will be OK with the smooth

Laugh? Like you mean?

I didn't know you have a mean streak?

I was more and that Kate was still in the competition then, worst still, Kate wasn't even remotely entertaining like John (or Peter Schmichael)!

I wouldn't dream of voting so I wouldn't dream of complaining about the result.

I might criticise the judges' scoring or wonder what the voters are playing at...but it's rightfully their decision

Well, Heather's footage definately looked like an early one as she's wearing the same outfit when Karen and Craig were analysing the footage on wednesday so I'm guessing it was monday or tuesday.

As there are 12 now competing, I think we're going to be in for a shock on sunday...

I would say 5 could be in the dance off...

Mark, Andrew, Don, Jodie, Heather

I think even Christine could be really... and Lisa

I think the only ones who are safe are Tom, Austin, Rachel and Cherie

John will be safe too methinks as he is so endearing

Quite! They have a perfectly cheesy song for their AS! I Can't Smile Without You by Barry Manilow! This should hopefully break the mould of people thinking Don can only do lip pouting, a 'one trick pony' as Len called it.

Seems that Len always picks losers as his favourite. He picked Jessie, an early exitee. Eww...

So you don't have a favourite then? Okay, perhaps you can enjoy it more than anyone else. Power to you!

Edit to add: For me, whoever goes on Saturday? Whoever dance the demo tonight! *dun dun dun dundundundun*

I guess I do... and I don't think I'm alone!

'Voting against the judges' seems to happen quite a lot, especially towards the end of the competition. Not so much last year, but definitely series three and four, there was a definite sense that people weren't going to vote for someone if the judges pushed too hard for them to win.

I think the Gabby/Penny thing made me laugh because the judges had basically implied that the only competition was between those two, Alesha and Kelly, and the others might as well leave right then. Also because they were crowing about how they had the final say and so could correct the awful choices of the viewers... and yet the first important choice they had to make, they got wrong!

I know it's a dance contest and on that front neither of them should have been in the dance-off, but there you go.

They are one of my favs too. My work will not allow me to watch ALL the Saturday show live so it would be wrong for me to vote based on that principle. That being so, I still would be really if, say, Rachel and Cherie (another of my favs) are at the bottom two, and Rachel being voted off as a result. I would be gutted.
