Hello.

I applied for tickets from this year and didn't get them. My niece phoned about 30 minutes ago to say she had had a text to say "conrgatulations on getting ticktets to SCD, door open at 3.15 (or words to that effect). She had applied but not recieved an e-mail or tickets in the post. She has phoned SCD and she deffo has tickets, they asked her to give her name in when she arrives & bring ID. Here the problem lies, having not heard about the problem she had made arrangements to work tomorrow that she can't get out of - and has asked me if I want the tickets!! I live hundreds of miles from London and am more than happy to drive down and back tomorrow in order to see the show. Will I not get in, as I'm not my niece. Any advice? This is the 3rd year I have applied for tickets..and this is my first chance to go....

Well done to you

I think if she has definitely been told to bring ID, you'd be risking a lot to assume they'll give the tickets to you instead. I wonder if it's sensible for her to ring and give them your name... on the other hand I don't know if they would allow her to give the tickets to someone else.

If you do manage to go is there any chance you could text the result back to a forum member? We've got a possible source but the more the better.

Can your niece arrange to get the tickets before hand? Like this evening after work or tomorrow morning before work?

Or (probably not the best way) does she have ID without a photo that you can borrow?

I hope you manage to go and have a brilliant time. It's a shame your niece can't make it, though. How gutting.

Right, I have called BBC tickets and they are going to put my name on the list as well

Now transport....what time do you get out? I am coming from Manchester, so may need to drive.

Anyone else travelling from up here & fancies car sharing?

That's good!

Most people on here have been out between 10.30-11pm, one week was nearer 11.30 due to a mix up with mobiles they had handed in beforehand.

I seem to remember somewhere that the phone lines are open for 2 hours after the end of the live show (which if memory serves is approx 8 pm tomorrow [correct me if Im wrong]. Then filming starts and takes approx an hour after that... So I would reckon it being finished approx at 11 tomorrow?

If you are driving back to Manchester area, it will take you approx 4 hours to get back (I travel up quite frequently) and that is going a steady 70/80 ish....
