Christmas Caking It
Right. Just did my cake.. went to line the tin after I'd mixed the fruit and mixed the sugar butter and eggs.. discovering, to my horror, that I had no greaseproof!
So I've been forced to improvise with greased double foil Anybody reckon this will affect the cake in a detrimental way??Also, if a deeply filled 8" round tin was left at gas mark 1 overnight after a few hours at 4 would it be dried to a crisp in the morning..? |
