Corn on the cob. Help!
Hi,
I always cook my corn on the cob in the microwave but it packed up yesterday (the microwave that is). Always seems a bit watery done in the pan. Can it be done in the oven? Any advice greatly appreciated. Adamand |

You can do it in the oven or under a grill. Just brush it with a little butter and turn it periodically so it gets even colour throughout, even better if it gets a bit charred. It's best on the barbie to be honest, but we don't have the weather for it here!

Hi.
![]() I rub butter over the cob and then wrap them individually in a piece of foil, sealing tight. I put them on the barbie or in the oven with the seam on the side (to make sure the butter doesn't leak out). I turn them over about halfway through. I put the oven on about 180C for 30-40 minutes. I like mine best on the barbie, however in winter I do the same thing in the oven. |

I steam or boil them before emptying the water and melting butter over them.
