What do I do with it?
Last Christmas someone gave me a small bottle of extra virgin olive oil flavoured with orange. Now most of the gifts I get are food based as everyone knows I love cooking. All year it's been sat there but I just haven't a clue what to do with it. I suspect it's one of those things firms bring out as a gift for foodies with no real purpose other than sounding good. I suppose you could flavour sweet pastry with it for something like mince pies or a lemon tart but I reckon orange zest would do a better job.
Sooooo, unless any of you food guru's can come up with a decent suggestion before tommorow it's going where my instincts tell me.....in the bin!

How about a Duck salad? I'm sure I saw one on TV this week so it should be on BBC Food or UKTV Food website.

Chuck it over a salad along with some balsamic vinegar.

I would definitely use it on a salad, maybe add some orange/tangerine/satsuma segments too, make it a citrussy summery salad.
