Mystery object
At some time during the past year I purchased a infrared CCTV camera. I just used the straightforward connection to a monitor, since it gave me what I wanted. Yesterday, I came across the two items shown in my images, which I have assumed to be a part of the camera package?
However, I’m not sure that this is so. Does anyone recognize the larger of the two items, as I think that the other is a connection between a gadget and my computer’s USB connection? Pic here: http://www.buxtononline.net/digital_spy/ I’m not that technically minded and would therefore appreciate all the help you can offer.

Your information has helped me a great deal, especially as it has cleared away a few of the cobwebs of time. Now I really do have something to work with after this period of wondering what these items were meant for.
Cheers Biffo...

Top one looks like a power connection of the 12v variety commonly used in cars. (lighter socket)
The bottom one looks like it might be a 3.5mm jack (standard headphone fitting) to female USB? Hard to say as the bigger end of the connection is a bit blurry? |
