What things do you eat, That others might not?
Hi everyone, Sorry for the odd title.
What things do you eat, That you (Or someone else) would consider to be very strange or disgusting but you love it? I'll tell you my favourite thing that I consider to be a bit strange and I've been told it is!! Dairylea cheese triangle (Light), Spread on bread (buttered) ether toasted or not toasted with tons of strong pepper! ![]() Hmmmm! So what are your 'odd' favourite things to eat?

Can't really think of anything, other than I'll eat almost anything, I'll try anything once and even again, just in case my tastes have changed.

Sandwiches made with butter and chopped garlic and a little sprinkle of salt. Delicious, but can only be eaten when you don't expect company !

Ham on toast. Most people think it's a slightly odd combination, or banana and jam on toast......

And I love sea snails too. I have eaten the lot raw on a fruit de mer platter, along with oysters. Sadly the first time I ended up with food poisoning calling out an emergency doctor in France, and the second time with food poisoning and ending up in hospital on a drip. So I am off the raw version of any of these things.
wel... I did like oysters, my husband adores them, but you know when you have too much of something and it puts you off for life? and Love the raw fish dishes when you get sushi. All roll mops... i suppose thats not the bluergh after al then. but do you eat raw squid and raw mussels? |

I have eaten raw squid ( but not the feelers) on a sushi and raw mussels on a fruit de mer platter. I guess eating raw mussels is just like eating an oyster, as that is a mollusc too.
But like I said, raw shellfish now off the menu due to being seriously ill with the norwalk virus, as is raw fish on sushi ( and I love sushi )- until I pop in May. |
