Ipod - hidden tracks

Hi,

I'm referring in particular hidden tracks on albums which dont play immediately after the previous song, some hidden tracks play several minutes after.

Can anyone advise me if it's possible to "split" the track in two or edit it in such a way so that I dont have to wait for the hidden track to play or have to fast foward to the song?

I was thinking it would just be a matter of putting the same song twice on a playlist and adjusting the stop time on one and then adjusting the start time on another, but this does not work as I whatever I do to one duplicates on the other, it would apper you cant to adjust them independently.

Any advice?

I just tend to cut out the silent bit on 'hidden' tracks.

Can't remember what I use for it (I'm at work) .... mp3trim I think?

Dunno why they bother with 'hidden' tracks to be honest. they're just annoying .....

Not too sure to be honest. I just put the cds in and the songs go in my iTunes library, anywhere I can find out?

If you've not altered the default settings, does iTunes not rip to AAC?

I think you need to tell it to change to MP3 when it rips.

If they're AAC, dunno what you'd need to edit them, not a format I use. MP3Trim certainly wouldn't be any use to you ....
