I love Come Dine with Me. The purpose of this thread is to say what you would cook for each dish.

Starter:
Posh Seafood platter=- crab, lobster, mussels, whelks, squid and prawns served on a bed of iced lettuce and tomato

Main
Steak with herb, garlic and chilli potatoes

Dessert
Home made chocolate cake

What would you make?

Sod the food.
Would you spice up your wardrobe and knicker drawer?, since the first thing they'll do is go for a good rummage.

They don't. It's all staged. There is a whole CDWM thread on the TV forum.

I'll have to look for that then.
Keeping this one on topic, for my main, I'd do duck breast with an orange and mango sauce. Not sure what I'd serve it with, probably some form of potato, or brown rice, and a few veg.

OR!!

Pud-Black Forest Gateaux

All washed down with lashings of Blue Nun and Black Tower!

I LOVE watching this show but would be screwed if I thought I could win lol
I have NO Imagination

Started - Winter vegetable Soup - home made of course with lovely home made bread
Main - Chicken in Honey and Mustard Sauce served with Basmati Rice and garlic bread
Veggie Choice - Sweet n sour Veggie stir fry
Desert - home made apple and strawberry pie with custard - made a huge one two days ago and was DELISH!

Have you ever noticed how for veggie main courses they always make mushroom risotto or stuffed peppers!?
