An odd request, but I know someone who needs to transcribe the audio track of vhs tapes whilst also making notes on the visual content.
I know they could be converted to a digital format and transcribed using PC software, but the volume of work means that doing it directly from tape would be easier.
They need foot-pedal control for pausing/playing, rewinding and FF.
I have heard that you used to be able to get vcr players which could be connected to a foot-pedal control (via RS422 ?). Anyone know where one could be had ?
