Kitchen gadget
On Saturday Kitchen this morning during the Great British menu slot the chef had a great contraption to slice the top of the egg shells perfectly. I have terrible trouble cutting the tops off of dippy eggs my egg topper is rubbish compared to this one. Does anyone know where I can get one of the good ones?

Do you really need one?
Surely a bit of practice with a sharp knife your do. The point of the gadget in the program was because for that amount of eggs and the level of perfection then a gadget was preferable. |

Ditto. A half decent knife does the trick no problem and I learnt how to do that when I was a kid.

Not sure how I mixed up "would" and "your" but I did. It is late

I've never sliced off the top of a boiled egg, s'bit posh innit? I always tap the head with my teaspoon and peel those bits of shell away.

There are so many unecessary gadgets these days. Waste of money and they take up space in your kitchen. |
