According to this article Cherie is doing the Salsa.

Well it goes without saying that I did too but it was the dance they did in the semi that didnt score aswell as some of their others and they went out that night so it must cross her mind...........however moving on.....if its right that Cherie has the Salsa I hope she rocks.

It's better to get it out of the way now then There's almost no chance of his exit this week even if he's bottom 2. He'd need to be with Cherie or Austin to go.

Hopefully! Though, I do think Jodie has potential in the Jive, unlike Penny's unfortunate mess last year. Don't get me wrong, I loved Penny as a person, but her Jive wasn't exactly Jill Halfpenny style .

Well according to the Sun this morning Andrew has hurt his knee in training......picture of him with a crutch.....so please hope he can at least hobble out rather than pull out or we are back to stupidity of a 2 person final again.

I have read a couple of rumours that austin is the quickstep and Jodie the waltz but only rumours at the moment have no idea why the BBC dont put it up on the website it just stupid.

That would make sense on the basis it gives us 5 ballroom and 5 Latin (with Rachel either being the jive or rumba).

Jodie and Ian are on ITT tonight so we'll find out what they're dancing - plus we have the training clips for Craig to comment on so we should know what everyone's doing! But I really don't know why we have to wait to find out and the BBC don't just tell us on Sunday after the Results show. Or even on Monday on ITT.

Couldn't agree more particularly as they don't ever manage to get some couples either on the sofa or reviewed on the panels

Also why all the secrecy with the music this year- last year they used to publish that on the site too

Cherie's salsa is confirmed. It's on the BBC site now.

Both Heather's Cha Cha Cha and Andrew's Samba have also been put on the site.

All i know is that Christine is ASing
Heather is chachaing and Andrew is smabaing. They are all doing different dances now.

I don't think the mambo is a new edition but, i hope it is.

I'm guessing it'll be a later group dance, when they start them again, and introduced as a set dance next year, I think that's what happened with the Salsa and the A Tango

I think the AT has always been a solo dance for the semi-finals, though Vincent and Flavia did a demo the week before in the first year it was danced.

Why not make the mambo this year's AT? Or make both finalists do a mambo in the final? That'll sort them out!

Neither do I, but I really hope it becomes a new addition next year. Brian and Kristina were phenomenal.

It's such a shame we won't get to see John attempt it .

That would be interesting.
