I'm so glad Jodie & Ian got the Waltz ”

Me too FT. Jodie certainly has more potential in the Ballroom area.

I'm also looking forward to Austin and Heather. Austin never fails to shine and looking at the training footage, we could be close to another Colin Jackson!

Heather's Cha Cha. A fantastic song with a fantastic choreographer. I'm hoping she can score high once again.

Austins going to nail the quickstep and im sure Erin will have a great routine lined up so imm hoping that will be the dance of the night.
I love the waltz so i hope Ian and Jodie manage to produce a great one for saturday too.

I'm REALLY looking forward to next Saturday now. Rachel, Austin and Lisa looking great and I think Tom, Heather and Christina will get it by Saturday (bit impossible to tell how someone's going to handle a cape if they're just pretending to have one). But particularly come on with the Pride and Prejudice waltz - can't wait!

The ones I'm really looking forward to are:

Austin and Erin: Quickstep. This is going to be fantastic, and I agree it could be the dance of the night. I hope they maintain their place at the top of the leaderboard. If it is Austin could emerge as the clear leader of the pack.

Heather and Brian: Cha Cha. I love their song so I'm looking forward to it mainly for that! I really like Brian's choreography so if Heather can perform it, it could be a really good dance. She should watch Alesha's chacha for tips on how to sell this dance.

Jodie and Ian: Waltz. I really like Jodie and I so want her to do well, but I can't vote for her as my vote may help push one of my faves into the bottom 2. I want her to do well enough to avoid the bottom 2 until the final 6 or thereabouts. I think she'll do a really good waltz as she's got the frame for it.

John and Kristina: Foxtrot. I've missed the Sarge in tails! I loved his waltz and I have high hopes for this dance. He must finish ahead of Andrew Castle at least!

I'm a bit worried about Cherie and James this week... I hope they're using latin music as it could make or break their routine.

It did look awkward, and didn't have her usual style, but Cherie is an actress and she does hold her nerve very, very well, and she is used to acting sexy. I think James's song choice will be key. He's made some rubbish choices so far, but if he can choose a good song and she gives it some welly, which she's certainly capable of, they could be fine.

I think the training footage shows you if they are getting the steps or not - and I know Cheri didn't look that great - but it doesn't really tell you how the performance will go, for her, Tom, Christine or Heather - because they aren't thinking of that.

So none of them are doing a rumba then? They've obviously assigned the American Smooth instead of the rumba. Think they should have stuck with the ten traditional ballroom and latin dances. Thought that was the point since 10 contestants now remain? Ah well - should be interesting!

On ITT Brian and Heather were showing their dance at the end of the show. It had a really long lift in it? Are they actually doing that on the night or was it just for show?
