which one was it? Oriste? telling us that he's doing this to find better support for his mother who's Ill....I don't mind hearing the story once (Infact, I find it rather noble)....But I hope they don't make a habbit of it

Yeah they shouldn't, they've got a personality, they don't need a silly sob story.

He sounds like a fantastic, loving son.

I don't mind hearing it once, it's nice to get a background on a contestant and know what kind of person they are, but if they mention it every week it will just get ridiculous.

They all seem like nice lads.

I thought the VT of JLS last night was OK, just about how proud their parents were of them..... apart from the bit where Oriste mentioned that he was doing it to give his mother a better life.... the other week it showed that 3 of the members were at university, so surely concentrating on his degree and getting a job would be of more benefit to his mother

I actually didn't mind Oritse mentioning it. It's not like they all went into the auditions and said "we're doing this for Oritise's mum" and brought it up everytime since. It's nice to get some background info.

I bet his mum is proud of him.

They will be back to wherever they came from within a fortnight.

Saying they are the best ever band on the show is just ridiculous.

'Silly'? Sheesh, the guy's mum has MS. Horrific, life threatening (for many) disease.

Agreed, its seems that other than Leona. Every other act from the shows history has been wiped from the judges memory :-p

I love JLS - they're probably my fave act - but I think G4 was better.
