I have a Sony DAV DZ260 home theatre system. I have read the instructions but can't find out how to reduce the bass on the subwoofer. Its really loud and when you turn it down you cant hear the dialogue. For now i have disconnected it but would like to know if it can be adjusted.

Have you set the system up via the auto setup using the calibration mic?

Manual setup for all speakers levels are explained on page 51/52 of the user manual.

You will be able to set the level for the sub to your own level here.
