Sorry, thought this was a thread for people who want Hayley back next year?
Must be my mistake

See that's what I thought when they got Hayley in, but aren't Erin and Camilla both taller and dancing with men shorter than Mark?

I liked Hayley. I am more likely to be impressed by people like her who keeps her head down and does her best than exhibitionists smirking at the camera. I hope she comes back next year and that we see her in a couple of pro dances as well.

Oh I'm not 100% on the matter but I would have thought Hayley was about 5'8" and Erin and Camilla both around 5'6"

I'm starting to regret starting this thread. I'll feel awful thinking Hayley has seen the negative posts

I know what you mean Autumn, I was glad to see the thread but could have predicted the way it would go. before she even danced a step she was being damned over the "showmance" press story which of course must have been true(because newspapers don't lie) she was damned for the perception that she was replacing Nicole even though she was not appointed until much later in the year, so she joins the show gets her head down, trains with her partner more than anyone else and guess what the the same people damn her for being dull. She can't win.
I hope she does come back next year, I hope she knows that some people really like her, but I would understand 100% If she chose not to. But at least there is support out there for her. |

Actually, in the preview, all 3 of the newbies were very unpopular. We thought Hayley was arrogant, Kristina was too showy and that Brian was too cocky.
However, as the weeks have gone by, lots of people have seen threw the characters that they were portrayed as on the preview show. Let's be honest, the producers had to exaggerate to give them more air time. But, whereas more people have grown to like Brian and Kristina, not many have done the same with Hayley. I fail to do so because I feel there is nothing to like. She comes across as someone who will only be warm, in my eyes, vocal or open if she has any success or is paired up with someone good. Kristina is paired up with John, who's pretty crap, and loads of people expected her to be quite nasty to him or to be quite rude, but in fact that opposite has happened. They have been funny together, she has supported him, she hasn't been harsh on him, and she hasn't been rude. I haven't seen any of this from Hayley. She hasn't been rude, but at the same time she isn't openly supportive or constructive. She fades into the wallpaper sometimes. If she comes back next year with an even better partner, then I'm sure we would see "the real Hayley" or whatever. But this is the problem. You will never always get the perfect partner. |

I think I didn't really give her much time, probably because I hated Mark so much
I hope she comes back with a better partner. I will give her another go. She seems like a sweet girl.

Why do you have to write all your posts in that pretentious way? It's very irritating.

I would like to be proven wrong on my feelings for her (I was on Brian, Kristina was the only one of the three I was looking forward to seeing) - it would be good if she got more pro dances and perhaps some time on ITT to discuss the training footage so we could see how much insight she has into that side of things and make better judgement (although that is a bad choice of word!). But I still stand by my initial feelings... |

I feel the same about her, I just could not warm to her at all. she did not seem to bring the best out of Mark at all.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh on her. After all, she was paired up with a plank of wood.

Absolutely bring her back - she is fresh - not artificial like some and I think she did a lovely job with Mark letting him take the front - after all he was the star. He is a lovely soft personality and if she had overshone him she would have received flack for that too.

This is very similar to another thread - but at risk of repeating myself - yes bring her back. This year with little exposure she was growing on the GBP - another season and they'll appreciate the bubbly, feisty kiwi.

The trouble is, Hayley was expecting better things of Mark (as we all were) and when he didn't deliver, she didn't have a Plan B.
It's a bit unfair to judge her based on one series. Give her a another chance I say. |

I wouldn't mind if she came back, she seems OK. (I doubt they would ask Nicole again after her NoTW interview, silly girl.) |

I feel sorry for Hayley, she came here already people didn't like before she even put a step on the dancefloor.
I think everyone have the right to a chance to prove they can do well, and to be fair with her, she hasn't been promote in ITT too much. She seems a sweet girl. |

I like her. Hayley seems like a very sweet girl. She is a bit quieter than Bryan or Kristina, but perhaps she is just finding it harder to fit in? She has had an uphill struggle this series, but if she got a more enthusiastic partner she could really develop.
