I haven't seen any of this from Hayley. She hasn't been rude, but at the same time she isn't openly supportive or constructive. She fades into the wallpaper sometimes. If she comes back next year with an even better partner, then I'm sure we would see "the real Hayley" or whatever. But this is the problem. You will never always get the perfect partner.”

That's just it. Kristina arguably drew the short straw regarding partners but she's made the best of a bad job and succeeded in creating a warm, genuine partnership with John. Of course we will never know what might have been, but I can't imagine Hayley would have been able to do the same thing, going by what we've seen of her so far.
The true test of an SCD pro dancer may be the way they deal with a partner who's got limited abilities. Again, we'll never know for sure but who knows how Mark might have developed if he'd been paired with somebody else?
Please don't think that I am 'hating' Hayley, she seems like a very sweet and genuine girl. But that's not really enough in my opinion, sorry
