Unofrtunately when I try to play it my browser shuts down
Do the official XF site put videos up on YT anymore? I cant find "Summertime" yet... (not added by the XF site anyway).

Purple Rain was one of last week's most watched videos until it was taken down
And I haven't found an official XF channel yet, but Summertime is up on Youtube: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=adGkaEi2e90

It will just keep being taken down. Imagine how many views she would have on that video last week if it was still up.

If it were to be released as a single,I reckon it would storm up the charts.
Outstanding is the word that springs to mind.

What's the Prince fiasco btw?

Prince doesnt like his songs on YT for some reason and they keep being taken down.
Ruth should release Purple Rain as a single, but I dont know if she'd be allowed.

Thanks grimtales1.

Since Ruth is presently contracted to Syco,I doubt that they will be releasing it any time soon.

I hope Ruth makes it to the final so we can hear her sing it again!

Yes and given how much people loved it, it would be a wise choice.

I always thought it was a winning performance.

If she were to be in the sing-off again,I wonder if she would be allowed to reprise her stunning performance.

Just wanted to add that although I'd heard Prince's version of Purple Rain it hadn't made 10% of the impact on me that Ruth's version did. I can still 'hear' those awesome notes in my head.

I've been having a problem with youtube this last few days. Sometimes things will play ok but other times I get a message about an internal server error and can't get on.

I hope so but Simon wasn't wowed by it and put the decision to deadlock, so maybe she would perform something else to try and win him over.

how odd! I never used to have problems with youtube.

The video you can't see with the 85,000 views is really just audio. There is a photograph of Ruth but you don't see the actual performance.

The point is that Ruth's performance had had 50,000 hits within a few hours of posting but was removed and has been reposted several times on a daily basis and been removed again, getting similar numbers of hits in between times and a week later got 85000 hits in a day. If all those hits over a week were added up it would be a phenomenal number of hits.
