Cheri is quality, but I fear she may lack the public support. Although James is in good form this year - that may help. I just fear one slip up will end her.

She's a good dancer, but I really dont like this partnership. Will always be blighted by the first week when the BBC highlighted Vincent leching over Rachel

Sheer charm will see them through a few weeks, but Christine appears to be limited in ability

Funny how we see things differently isn't it?
I see nothing 'wierd' about their partnership at all. They might not be the same age, they might not come from the same country, but I think their partnership is wonderful - Brian is both respectful as well as supportive and encouraging. He boosts her esteem as well as being firm when he has to. Equally she respects him as a dancer, listens to him as a teacher, yet still is matey enough with him to have a laugh.
Their friendship is evident in their training footage - they have a lot of fun - Brian says she has been his best student, he goes to her concerts. I see nothing wierd about it at all.
I don't find Jodie and Ian far more beautiful at all. Yes they're more kissy, cuddly on ITT and personality wise, shes much more used to speaking on camera - shes not as shy getting interviewed as Heather is. Nothing against Jodie and Ian, but I certainly don't put them as the most beautiful couple, while considering Heather and Brians partnership to be 'wierd'

I think my point about Heather and Brian do their stuff apart (for example in the Samba), he goes off on one which Heather cant compete with, making her look sluggish and, hence, the choreography 'a bit weird'. Brian needs to tone it down a bit, IMHO.
As a bloke, even I know that Ian is a dish. Add in Jodie, and get the two geared up in great outfits, and towering over Brucie and youve got the most beautiful couple in the competition. If they can stick a good routine together, they will really stand out on all fronts.

I'm with you in loving Heather & Brian's partnership. I do however think that Jodie & Ian have captured the popular vote and will finish higher than can be predicted on ability alone. I think it's too early to rank the final ten but I can see Jodie & Ian finishing above Lisa & Brendan and Christine & Matthew.

You are so wrong. Ian does nothing for me. We all have different tastes. yes, Jodie looked stunning on Saturday but it's her personality that is winning her votes. Tall does not equal beautiful.

Last post on this as I don't want to sidetrack the thread either. Just wanted to say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder - just because you think Ian is a dish doesn't mean others do - I don't find him attractive - in fact I find him quite smarmy sometimes. I appreciate you find them the most beautiful couple - but that doesn't mean that they are
......I found Heather and Brian to be the most beautiful couple on Saturday - but its all just personal opinion.

Agree wholeheartedly! Brian is SO good that when he dances full out he just makes Heather look even worse than she probably is!

I either think she'll go out quite early or be there to the final, she is really nice, elegant, a great performer, I just can't warm to her dancing.

I love them, they're my favourites. He's such a natural dancer, he works incredibly hard and I think Erin is a wonderful choreographer, so their dances have looked amazing so far, especially their jive, my favourite dance of the series so far.
