Like A Virgin. First time I ever heard it back in '84 I thought "wow" and still love it.

Very hard question. I would say Cherish out of the upbeat songs and Crazy For You out of the slow ballads.

I'm not a fan of hers but I do like some songs. Frozen stands above all others for me.

'Dress You Up' is still powerhouse pop. I couldn't choose an overall favourite, but that's probably the one I actively choose to play the most. I can honestly say that Madonna hasn't recorded a single song that I "don't like" - at the very worst there are the tracks that I can merely 'take or leave'.

Very tricky for me I must admit. I suppose if I had to settle for an all time favourite I would say 'Like a Prayer' because it was the first Madonna song I can personally remember singing along to when it was first released (although mum remembers me singing 'True Blue' before that.) I have a load of good memories about 'Like a Prayer' and it never fails to uplift me.

'Cherish' and 'Angel' are very close seconds. I was an instant fan of 'Cherish' and I am not ashamed to admit that a huge part of the reason why I like the song so much is because it reminds me of my mum.

My favourite track from 'Hard Candy' is definitely 'Miles Away' and at the moment it is following me around everywhere.

That's a beautiful ballad, even by her standards. Mine has to be 'Human Nature', I think everyone will agree her worst is 'Hanky Panky'. I'm not even a fan of her music.

Not a fan of MADonna at all...but 'Justify My Love' is quality...partly, it must be said, because she doesn't try to ruin it by singing...which is very far from her strong point.

Holiday and Borderline have always been mine, and Take a Bow too. There's not many of hers that I dont like, but those ones have always stood out for me.

Music - This IMO has become one her new anthems like Holiday, Material Girl, Like a Virgin etc was before.

Everytime I've seen it performed live it was always completely banging and got the crowd singing along.

This was also an occasion when she got the song, the video and the whole look/era completlely bang on.

I don't have an overall favourite. There are so many I adore with the same affection I have always given to Madonna.

The Power Of Goodbye
Love Profusion
Secret Garden
American Life
Hollywood
Frozen (fond memories of Australia)
Crazy For You
Oh Father
Cherish
Rain
This Used To Be My Playground
Dear Jessie (a lovely frothy lemonadey kind of song)

Nearly everybody has said a different song. Usually one artist is known for a couple of songs, but Madonna has had so many

And to the poster a few posts above - I love Hanky Panky!! I think the only single i don't really like is Give it 2 Me!
