Anyone lucky enough to have a review copy of the new Sugababes Album, track 2 is obviously based on an earlier song.

I can hear the original in my head and can almost pull the words out of the mist but the new version is unique enough to stop me remembering the first version.

Does anybody know which song they've based their's on?

Track 2 is titled "Whatever makes you happy"

The song that you know is called I Can't Wait by New Shoes.

It was released in 1986. I asked the wife and told me what it was straight away.

Just heard this on Radio 1. I think the track you want is 'Let's go all the way' by Sly Fox. It was also a hit in 1986.

Don't know about the sugababes song but the group you are reffering to is actually "Nu Shooz" the track is from the album "Poolside" which I shall have to dig out now cos I haven't heard it in ages and I thought it was a great album at the time.

As for the Sly Fox track you should be able to identify it by it's "Boom Boom Ziggy Ziggy" backing.
