Hi there,
I have a Philips 42PF9831D/10 and it has a 'optical in' and a 'optical out' on the back of the TV.

First off, is the Optical Sound any good on this TV compared to usual connections?
I want to connect my PS3 and SKY+ HD box via optical too, but I cant due to only having input on the TV. Now if I buy a Optical Switch and connect them to the TV is it going to be worth it? Or will the HDMI connection be good enough?
I want to get a 5.1 set up in the future but would like a optical connection in the mean time... Also would I just use the 'optical output' on the TV to connect them up to 5.1 system via optical or straight from the PS3/HD box to the 5.1 system via optical...?
A few questions there
Many thanks in advance.
