I think we might have to ditch the speedo swimsuit as only slim people get snapped in them LOL!

this is a very funny thread, well done all (except those taking it a bit too seriously.

It would be funny seeing the judges do something different - maybe for Children in Need???

But you know, I think Arlene is in great shape for her age - perhaps not so much lumps/bumps, more natural effect of gravity

I do love the idea of getting the judges to even attempt to doggy paddle their way down a pool - Eric the Eel anyone?

Needs more graphic talent than I possess.

Wanted - a graphic artist who can illustrate what the infamous four might look like clad in figure clinging speedos - just a thought, might Craig, Len and Bruno require any padding?

As for the false starts - oh yes!

To Craig - "Anticipating the gun may come naturally to you, but remember this is a swimming contest."
I nearly brought up my dinner.....

What about a fishnet swimsuit for Arlene, since she's so excited about Mark's fishnet shirt.
Somethings are just best left to the imagination......or not as the case maybe...

Buddy you are a genius.

Red wine all over my keyboard.

Now how about the men - remember swimmers accept early morning training as the norm - diving into the pool at 6 a.m. come summer or winter is just the customary start of their day. However even the best of them sometimes shiver before diving in - our judgemental judges would have goosebumps on the goosebumps.

btw they must wear swimming hats - they are very unflattering - only the godlike Mark Foster can really get away with that!

oooh yes - if it's for a good cause they can hardly refuse.

One or two provisos - Mark must be responsible for their training - and the spectacle must be open to the public.

Oh I slaver at the very thought.

Buddy - fantastic. I howled with laughter.

Another swimming exercise - haul oneself out of the pool (no using the steps)!

Cue for joke:

How do you stop a man or Arlene from drowning?
Put your foot on his/her head - preferably Mark's size 12's.

Nooooo - I was going to suggest we put them on the BBC forum.

Maybe not.
