new headphones from argos

i`m after a new set of headphones . i still have some gift vouchers left for argos so i will get them from there. i was thinking upto about £30 there are several types , any suggestions on which would have the nicer sound quality for my ipod. heres the link

These look they're good and only £20. It's a shame Argos don't sell Sennheiser's CX300's, they're really good and can be had for around £10 on Amazon, just be careful you don't get fakes!

the sonys are too cheap.
you need to go up the line before the sonys get half decent

i have a set of sony at the moment which i bought about 2 years ago cost me £7.99. i thought maybe if i spent upto £30 i might get better sound quality from a more exspensive set. regards popp

I don't get on well with earphones - last year i went through about a pair a month (seriously) - both expensive and cheap.

It's for that reason i only ever buy the £4.99 phillips earphones from Argos. They do the job

(i've only gone through about 4 pairs this year )

The Sony MDR-EX85 are available for £39 at argos (but you can get them for £14 at play, so why spend so much money for argos )
They are better than the other Sony ear phones though.

just be careful buying online. esp on ebay where basically nothing but fakes are sold

as for ex85, yea they sound decent.
they are sort of open, which makes them feel comfortable, but it means they leak sound if played loud which is bad for places where you have to be considerate.
the cx300 sound ok, i prefer the ex sound, but the cx type of canal phone does block out ambient sound and does not leak. so its good for when doing loud chores..vacuuming etc. they all have their place
