Very very happy. Very well deserved. Thought all the pro's and celebs should have gone up on stage too though!

Though was not impressed by the oh so blatent favourism of Austin. Its so unfair how much coverage he is getting compared to others. Its like they want him to win, and I really hope he doesn't!

didnt like all the Austin promotion. I'm suprised they didn't ask him to go on stage with them instead of Alesha.
All the other talent shows focused on the winner then you had Austin and some rubbish lad on x factor. It does make me think they've already got there 2008 winner sorted. Hmmmm

I agree; I like Austin but all the promotion surprised and (I'm sad to say) annoyed me.

We did get the Alesha and Matthew winning moment and two seconds of their victory dance in the first clip, but the NTAs are held right in the middle of Strictly and X Factor so someone who has only just started watching either show and voted tonight based on that may have felt cheated that no series 6 clips were shown. However there are 16 couples and we could have had clips and comments from a wider selection - I thought the first clip was really good as we saw John Sargeant, Mark Foster and... I can't remember who else, but I thought it was a good mix of series 5 and series 6.

Austin dancing and presenting with Erin then Tess mentioning his guns didn't help! I know it's not his fault and he must have felt really embarrassed, but it's spoilt the series a bit for me. Which is odd as he's the one I've wanted to win from the start!

Its a shame as I probably would have liked him more without all of this favouritism.

Agreed. Especially as Alesha was there, they could've asked Matt along to dance with her - he'll be in London after all.

As for the award - well done Strictly. TBH it was the best reality show bar none last year.

And Simon Cowell has said people don't care about Strictly, well some people do.

His face was priceless. In fact it was the highlight of the night

Especially as all his colleagues were laughing their heads off at his reaction. They didn't seem to care less.

I'm starting to get that feeling from Austin. Liked him at the beginning but now find him rather arrogant and cold.

It does not set well with me that he is being promoted more than others but it's nothing new, it happens every year.

Can someone point me to a place to can watch lovely Alesha on stage accepting the award.

Austin and Erin danced. They also announced an award earlier in the show.

Tess made the acceptance speech; Alesha, Craig and Arlene were also there. Tess said the award was for Bruce, and everyone cheered - he wasn't at the ceremony.
