Orange Hsdpa
Calling all Orange tech people.
I took out a contract about a year ago, the phone i recieved was the SEk810i. I have recently replaced it with a SEk850i which has the hsdpa function, What i want to know is do i need to have my sim card / account upgraded to use the hsdpa, as my area has recently had the masts upgraded to hsdpa. The reason i ask is when i go to the transform wap page of orange world in the "G" section it still shows 3 and not H as my simbol is on my screen, or 3.5 or even 3+ which i think i was told by an orange world colleague some time ago. If i dont need a simupdate ect ect my wap browsing speed has not changed as i woudl have expected, so any tips ect woudl be much appreciated. Regards Robert |

Regards Robert It would lead me to believe your settings maybe incorrect on the phone, in which case Help Desk would set you straight or that there is no HSDPA coverage in your area. However as you've said they just upgraded the area, it doesn't look like that is the case. How long have you had you SIM for? |

Well my original sim, was a 3g simcard, but i have just 2 days ago had my sim replaced because my dog chewed it LOL, i left it on the side as i was checking another sim to see if it was active or inactive lol. Is there a website to show Orange HSDPA coverage, on the front of my phone it shows the H but if they haven't fully enabled it for example this could explain it.
