Most Improved Dancer

Some of the celebrities seem to have been quite good from week one/two while others have had a rollercoaster ride. However, overall who do you think is the most improved (rather than is the best).

My vote goes to Lisa (who I didn’t rate at all in the second show) but now think could do very well if she continues to improve.

As of last week I'd say Andrew, but that could change on Saturday.

Austin is my favourite, but he was good in week 1, but apart from him I think Jodie is the most improved. She was awful in week 2, but she's got control of her tall body much better now and I think she did the best paso this week.

On the evidence of Saturday, it has to be Andrew.

It will be interesting to see if he can sustain it.

Jodie and Andrew have both made good improvements, Andrew more though.

I'm still waiting for someone I didn't rate much at the beginning to do a dance that makes me sit up and go 'woah-hoh!' However, the potential for such lies with Heather's cha-cha and Lisa's tango this week, I think.

Jodie has improved so much, Andrew too . Watching his American Smooth, then turning to his Viennese Waltz, you can certainly see the difference.

For me Jodie has made the most improvement. For some reason - not just because she is tall - I expected her to be clumsy and awkward, and on week 1 that is how she looked, but she has really become quite graceful.

My favourite of the girls is Lisa; she had a bad start but it seemed more due to nerves than inability.

I don't think Lisa had had a bad start, in fact I think she's shown ability right from the start.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Lisa, but her first dance was a bit stiff and she tended to slip quite a bit..... but she was still streets ahead of some of the others. Sometimes I think the judges are more "picky" with her, because they can see she has such potential. Hope she makes the final.

What I meant was that she doesn't have the same room for improvement as dancers like Jodie, Andrew & Heather, so I don't see her as ' most improved' dancer in the spirit of this thread.

On Saturday I would say it was definitely Andrew - I loved the dance he did - really sweet.

But I'm not sure he's got the versitility to cope with latin - maybe he'll have had a confidence boost and come out fighting - would have been better not to be in the dance off though!

Jodie could improve yet again - I hope so.

The trouble is, so many of them started with great comments and great marks - Austin, Cherie, Tom - that they don't have anywhere to go really - except backwards!

I agree with Lorelei Lee - not really had that wow factor yet!

I am really pleased that LISA has finally been noticed for her dancing
I think she has danced better than the last week each time and she's the best and most watchable female dancer in the contest imho. Best dresses too !

Overall though, my vote for the most improved would be Jodie

I think based on last Saturday Andrew made a terrific improvement, but whether he'll do as well this week remains to be seen. Jodie also has made an improvement- the first two weeks she was pretty bad but now she seems much better, although the judges are undermarking her.

Definitely Jodie ...... I'm not a fan of Ian's in the slightest, but he has done a great job with her so far and I like them very much as a pairing

OK, yes, that's fair enough.

Has to be John, he is rewriting the dance step book.........inventing steps and still getting good marks for it..........

Id say Lisa she was average on her first dance but has topped the leader board since

The most improved dancer has to be Jodie, for me. Her confidence has been boosted by Ian, and they are a joy to watch... although under-marked too often, IMO.
