X Factor Single Biggest Hit Of The Decade
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/xfactor/...he-decade.html
Complete bullsh*t It will be by far the biggest selling single of the year, but the decade? And as for only Leona's 500k being the only feat that could compare, it's a long way off Shane Ward's 750k, Gareth Gates' 800k or Will Young's week sales of 1.1 million. Nothing but Simon Cowell trying to hype the single up. |

The devil is in the detail, it says 'one of ' not 'the' biggest. Quote:

I had a bit of a sinister thought about this single. In my opinion the X factor has become a bit of a diluted and devalued brand in recent time, and the music is not perhaps as popular as it once was (I'm thinking of Leon as an example). Do you think that Simon Cowell has set up this single as a way for all the finalists to get a guaranteed number one single, and then basically not bother having a music career post x-factor in an effort to keep the brand strong and the winner being successful in terms of popularity and sales.
I know its all in a good cause too, but it wouldn't suprise me if Cowell was killing two birds with one stone with this one.....or maybe I'm just being overly cynical here. |

It also says that only Leona Lewis can compare, which isn't exactly true.
And wow! ![]() |
