TUTV thomson box saying hard drive full when not
spikej

Dear all, just a quickie. My TUTV is refusing to download programmes from the overnight transmissions as it says the hard drive is full (it's not as there is only a few of my programmes on there, all the TUTV stuff is expired) but the software menu says it's only 50% full.

I have tried the old phase interuption trick (read: off/on) but no luck. Any tips before I ring TUTV?

Cheers.

sounds like you have a corrupt recording. The recordings you have made, check the duration of them for any unusual long lengths

Checked but there isn't anything of a long recording time, the box is now empty of TUTV material (except for saved items) and says I have 8hrs free, but 75% in the help menu. Very strange.

Try scrolling down the library - does it freeze or pause for a long time on a particular recording? If it consistently does so on the same recording there's a good chance that it is corrupted in someway. Try deleting it and see if that makes a radical difference to your free space.

Mine is showing 0 mins free even though know I have space.
